Ever since I moved to this country I've been a bit obsessed by making sure whatever I eat is decently healthy. And it got much worse after I had the kids... I think my first real shock had to do with those mini ziploc bags filled with Cheerios that kids carry with them in the stroller. I grew up in the French country side where a lot of what we ate came directly from the surrounding farms, so the sight of Cheerios in a bag as "healthy kid's food" was a bit revolting.
Of course with time (and with the arrival of my second kid!) I got to understand the benefits of this snacking technique, but I still believe that there are many easy ways to get our kids into healthier eating habits. I don't pretend to have the perfect answers (eventhough I'm French so I'm supposed to be arrogant, especially when it comes to food!), but at the request of other busy Moms I've decided to share some of the ideas and things I cook for the kiddies, in the hope to get them to appreciate good food as early as possible - without driving their moms crazy.
Well, at least, you are obsessed on healthy food; not on those junk foods.

I think the obsession is a great thing when it comes on this part!
